Polimer Tech on Nitrogen + Syngas 2024

We are pleased to announce that Polimer Tech will be joining CRU Nitrogen + Syngas 2024 in Gothenburg!
Come along to stand 14, where we will be pleased to showcase our new design and manufacturing capabilities for pressure equipment. Including 3D scanning and heat treatment technologies.
Among the topics of discussion at the event will be the latest developments in technology and equipment for nitrogen and syngas processes.
The current theme for 2024 will be increased energy efficiency and low-carbon production technologies for blue and green ammonia, hydrogen and methanol.

Polimer Tech became a patron of the 1st Nuclear Energy Congress, which took place on 12-13 September at the AGH University of Science and Technology Information Centre, Kraków.
The congress is the first of a series of events in Poland dedicated to the participation of domestic companies in the PEP2040 project. It is planned to build 6 nuclear power plant units with a capacity of 6-9 GW by 2043, which will provide domestic consumers with 20% of the energy supply.
Polimer Tech has obtained an additional certificate PED 2014/68/EU

The new certificate is a further confirmation of FHU Polimer’s competence to perform welded joints in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive for the manufacture of pressure equipment, steel and aluminium structures and their parts.
The certificate received certifies that the manufacturer meets the quality requirements for its production equipment and ensures quality control in accordance with the standards adopted by the directive and employs qualified supervisory and control personnel.

Certificate of Conformity PED 2014/68/EU module A2 for process pipelines

Polimer Tech was successfully certified according to Module A2 of directive 2014/68/EU for process pipelines.
The new certificate is a significant extension of our existing vertical range of manufacture industrial installations, representing a significant cost and time saving for our clients.
The feasibility for a subsequent certificate for process pipelines is related to a series of design and manufacture orders for industrial plant assemblies.

Polimer Tech at the Heat Exchanger World Conference & Expo Europe 2022

Polimer Tech participated on November 1-2 as an exhibitor in the Heat Exchanger World Conference & Expo 2022 in Rotterdam. The event was a meeting ground between manufacturers, suppliers, traders, engineering companies and end-users.
It was an opportunity to showcase our latest developments and best practices in industrial heat exchange. Also valuable was the opportunity to directly discuss the latest technologies, products and ideas with supply chain participants of the industrial heat exchanger industry and its end-users.

Electronic signatures increase efficiency

Electronic signature is already over 20 years old and is becoming increasingly widespread, not just for taking care of administrative matters, but also in business relations.
The eIDAS Regulation specifies that a qualified electronic signature is legally equivalent to a handwritten signature in the whole European Union.
Electronic signature holds a number of advantages, such as higher security, and brings environmental benefits arising from reduced use of paper, ink and fuel. A huge asset is that it allows swift document exchange, especially when a document requires several signatures and some people are working from home or are away on business trips.

We are proud to announce that the Special Structures Design Department has been established within our Design Studio.
It employs highly-qualified specialists in the field, who use the following tools:
- Tekla Structures 2022 – steel structure drawings, shop drawings, 3D models, NC files;
- Advance Steel 2022 – steel structure drawings, shop drawings, 3D models, NC files;
- Autodesk Robot Structural 2022 –static structural calculations, node calculations;
- Dlubal RFEM 5.26 – static structural calculations, node calculations, FEM calculations.
We provide comprehensive designs of overpasses, load-bearing structures, poles, bridges, exhaust ducts, absorbers, cases, grates, separators, etc.

With the continued development of our company, which has mainly involved
- improving our technological and organisational skills,
- increasing our manufacturing capacities with the new production hall, and
- extending our service range, including in special structures, as well as laser metal cutting and bending services,
we have decided to rebrand ourselves to present our growing range of products and services in a more consistent and comprehensive manner to both our current and prospective Clients.
As part of these efforts, on 7 June our company launched its new websites, which are available at different addresses:

This also involves new email domains which have changed from…@polimer-polska.pl to …@polimer.tech and …@ndt.polimer.tech (the latter is used for addresses connected with the Polimer NDT Laboratory). All emails sent to addresses with the previous domain name will now be redirected to their equivalent addresses with the new domain. You will receive our replies and new emails from addresses with the new domain name.
EN 15085-2 Certification

Developing its new range of activities – special structures – Polimer has completed certification in “Welding of railway vehicles and components” according to EN 15085-2, in the field of application “Manufacturing of new assemblies and components for railway vehicles”. Certification level CL1.
New production hall

We are pleased to inform you that thanks to the trust placed in us by our Clients, we are increasing the number of completed projects each year. This led us to the decision to move our manufacturing operations to a new hall with an area of 2364 m2 located at ul. Szafrańska 11 in Kraków.
This big change went very smoothly as we gradually expanded our equipment resources and employment by running a demanding recruitment procedure, which included the practical verification of skills of welders and fitters. The new facility is equipped with two overhead cranes and optimum infrastructure for manufacturing pressure equipment.

ISO 14001 & 45001 certification

Polimer has successfully completed the certification procedure confirming the application of an Integrated Management System and compliance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO 14001:2015 and PN-ISO 45001:2018 for the design, manufacturing and assembly of pressure equipment, steel installations and constructions and the nondestructive testing of welds in the NDT laboratory.
