Designed and manufactured in 2019 for a foreign contracting party, the device demonstrates
some of Polimer Grzegorz Grzesik’s potential for the comprehensive implementation of multiaspect contracts, requiring, as in this case:

  • a highly skilled and experienced design studio;
  • outstanding skills of welders;
  • an appropriate range of authorisations of the laboratory and welders;
  • knowledge of a variety of regulations and the ability to reconcile them.

We modernised the device by designing the insulation of the top tube sheet to reduce its operating temperature.

The shell wall thickness is 90 mm

We prepared the design in accordance with ASME BPVC Sec. VIII Div. 1, TEMA R. The technologies used in manufacturing and welder authorisations comply with ASME BPVC Sec. IX. Polimer laboratory carried out tests in accordance with ASME BPVC Sec. V. The manufacture, testing and inspection were performed according to ASME BPVC Sec. VIII Div. 1 and PED 2014/68/EU and the device bears CE marking.

We subcontracted:

  • Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT);
  • 100% eddy-current testing of technological tubes.
